Comment Guidelines

Due to an increase in From Western Colorado readership and comments, I feel compelled to add this page and a few lines to guide your comments.  First, I’m very grateful that all of you are reading and listening to my work, and I encourage you to continue to engage in a dialogue about the issues.  There are, however, a few changes I’d like to make concerning what and how you add to the discussion.  Please take time to read them before posting.

  • Feel free to add your opinions, questions, and expertise – whether you agree with what I write or not. I encourage a healthy dialogue that includes all points of view.
  • Do not add slanderous or libelous comments. They will not be posted.
  • No name-calling.
  • Please do not use my blog as a place to post a press release or calls for action. I encourage you to create your own blog for that. While I may occasionally post calls for action on a particular issue, I alone reserve the right to do that on this blog.
  • If you want to add something personal, please do so and I will respond via email.  I may not post your personal message on the blog but I will always respond.

That’s it for now.  Thanks so much for all your comments and please keep them coming.  And, thanks for listening…
